what i bought today

 when i was looking through urban outfitters i got my eye on this lovely floral patterned top and as soon as i saw it i knew i wanted it. its so pretty and will go with shorts/skirts/skinny jeans which is good. i really like the colours on it but the back is a bit odd and has a big slit up it, i dont think i'll be wearing it without a cardigan/jacket as i dont really fancy having my full back on display.

i've been looking for a nice floaty type skirt and found this in urban outfitters. again, floral. i like the colours on this too and i like the way it has a zip going up the middle and an elasicated waist.

i finally found a pair of levi shorts that fit my thighs! (i didnt want to have to lose weight so i could fit into a pair of shorts) i think they fact they're cut off means they fit better instead of tighter ones, but this is the third pair ive tried so third time lucky i guess!

outfit and face of the day #2

 back to skinny jeans today. trusty black ones from h&m which are probably my go to jeans as they go with basically everything. i got my stripey top from new look a couple of years ago and its probably another go to item. again i wore my grey hoodie and biker jacket along with my fred perry tartan scarf that i got a couple of christmas' ago and i loooove it. on my feet i wore my black boots from topshop which are pretty comfy. oh and my leopard print belt that i got for christmas as leopard print is my favourite and i usually wear atleast 1 item of it everyday (today i wore had matching leopard print underwear too)

quite a failed face of the day image as i missed out half my face but i didnt want to take another as my new puppy looked very cute in it so he can just be the main focus :-)

i liked my outfit today. i dont wear dresses very often as lately ive just stuck to wearing mainly skinny jeans so it was a nice change. i got my dress for my birthday which i ordered off amazon. its a nice black and white polka dot dress with a brown belt included which goes in at the waist to add a bit of shape and it was only £12.95! since its pretty cold i wore a plain grey hoodie which i got from h&m a few year ago under my black leather biker jacket that i got from topshop last month for £50.00. on my feet i wore my new vans which were for my birthday but i only chose the ones i wanted yesterday. they're black with burgandy on the front and heels and were £49.99 from office.

i rarely apply any heat to my hair anymore so just let it dry naturally and wear it down. i also FINALLY got some earrings that ive been wanting for ages. they're the typical chavy style earrings but i think people can pull them off if they dont dress like a chav/are a chav so i am ok, plus i like them anyway so dont care if theyre what chavs wear. i dont usally bother with eyeliner for sixth form but this week i fancyed a change!


i imagine this post was fairly boring but i dont often post on here and i liked my outfit today so thought i may aswell do an outfit of the dayyyy

for my a-level art first project the title is "A Sense Of Place" and i decided to do Newcastle and also use heart anatomy. i'm currently working on a big board at sixth form which is a human heart that includes the sage, tyne bridge and angle of the north (i might also add newcastle castle) for parts of the heart. last weekend i went for a walk with my parents down the quayside to take some photos

i'll probably add photos of work ive done already/when its all finished soon :-)

i forgot how much i love this album.

today i went to sainsburys (alone) for something to do and got some new pens which are GREAT, the range of colours is fab! (stationary rules)

highlight of my day.

today we went to visit the new puppies as we're getting another one! my dad had been getting pictures sent from the breeder and i got my eye on a certain one which i saw today and he is SO cute, he stands out with his little blonde eyebrows and he is just so cute and i really want him! they're all so small too. they'll be ready to get at the end of this month/start of next and i cant wait! they're still growing and changing so will look different afer a few weeks but im hoping he still has those little eyebrows. i held him for a while and he was licking my hand and just aw, so happy!

i also got a new camera off my mam and dad which is an instant/polariod type camera which i am very happy with!

its so exciting taking a photo and then watching it develop. i really like the way the images come out and im looking forward to taking some more!

one of my christmas presents was a mulberry bag, purse and keyring all of which were from my grandad with money he left (first christmas without him :-( rip x)

after wanting a pair of red heels for months i thought id break into my christmas money by finally getting myself a pair! id looked around in various shops for a while but all the ones i saw were the wrong shade, the wrong material or the wrong style then i finally saw some in Kurt Geiger, but when i saw them they were £99 redcuded from £140, pretty pricey. but i checked online the other night and saw they were down to £69 so i thought id just go for it as they tick all the boxes of what i was looking for! i hope they arrive soon as i have a couple of parties coming up this week so it'd be nice to have some new heels to wear :-)

1st post

friday was the start of the christmas holidays and it was a fab start to them! i only had to go in for double art which ended up being a waste of time anyway as i had no motivation to do any work. i came home afterwards and had some supernoodles then met my friends and went to beccas for the afternoon. we did our secret santa and watched the tv/listened to music and i ended up having a laughing fit/break down which was pretty amusing.

afterwards i came home and got ready for a birthday party. it had been a while since we'd all had a party so it was really good! i lost my voice at one point and sounded hilarious so everyone was laughing at me (it came back thank god) and it was just a really good night. i must have been fairly drunk as i was singing and dancing which i NEVER do but had a lot of fun doing! when i got home i had a bacon pitta with my mam and dad at 1 in the morning...as you do!
